Short links & QR codes
Small links. Plenty of possibilities.
NILO’s URL shortener gives a long destination a shorter address. Organize links and dynamic QR codes, change where they lead, and review their activity without publishing a profile.
Example short link
nilo.my/s/your-next-thing
One address to share. A destination you can change.
- Editable destinations
- PNG and SVG QR downloads
- Tags, expiry, and activity reports
A tidy link for the thing that matters.
Choose a short address and a name you’ll recognize later. Send people to a public website, portfolio, or booking page, and use tags and search to find your saved links again.
- A readable NILO address with a fixed short name
- Private names, descriptions, and tags
- Your own branded hostname once its connection is active
Change the destination, keep the address.
Update a saved link or dynamic website code’s destination. The short address stays fixed, so existing links and QR images follow the change. Download reusable QR designs as PNG or SVG.
- Editable destination URLs
- An address fixed at creation
- Dynamic QR codes with saved download designs
Share with a little more control.
Pause a link, set an expiry, or archive it while keeping its address reserved. Open its Insights to explore recorded activity, campaign labels, and the available reporting filters.
- Pause, expiry, archive, and restore controls
- Resource-specific Insights and filtered CSV exports
- Standalone tools that do not require a published profile
A few steps. A whole new possibility.
Name your link
Choose a short address and add the destination URL.
Choose your controls
Add tags or an expiry if needed, then deliberately save the link or QR code.
Share it anywhere
Copy the short link or export its QR image. Test the final image on a phone before distributing it.
A few things you might be wondering.
Can I rename the short address later?
The short address and domain stay fixed after creation. You can change its name, description, tags, destination, active state, and expiry.
Will my QR code still work if I change the destination?
A saved dynamic QR code follows the updated destination while its link is active, unexpired, and unarchived. Static codes from the free QR generator contain their original content directly; they cannot be changed or measured through NILO after export.
Can I use a domain I already own?
Branded domains can be selected once ownership, routing, and HTTPS are active. TXT ownership verification alone is not enough; hosting activation may still need to be completed. Your NILO address works independently while a domain is being connected.
Can I see how often it’s used?
Open a saved link or dynamic QR code’s Insights to review its recorded activity within the available 90-day window. Opens include repeat requests; QR attribution is not proof of a camera scan or a unique person.
A few more things you can do.
